In order to create equitable environments for gifted learners, especially for students of color, participants will reflect on their own cultural identity and the role our identify plays in bringing both culturally responsive practices into the classrooms and access to the opportunities for our gifted learners. This session is required for the Gifted and Talented building teachers and Points of Contact. It is highly encouraged for HGT classroom teachers.
