During the 18-19 school year the process used for talent identification was rolled out. In this session, we will discuss when to encourage a referral for a talent area. We will discuss specific characteristics for each of the seven talent areas (music, dance, visual arts, performing arts, leadership, creativity and productive thinking, and psychomotor). The goal of this session is to be able to recognize students from diverse backgrounds who have an exceptional talent and an overview of the talent identification pathway process.
